Pond Conservation (formally The Ponds Conservation Trust): was established in 1998 by a consortium of 23 organisations and individuals to provide a national focus for the conservation of ponds. It aims to deliver practical conservation projects across the UK , increasing public awareness of the problems that ponds face, while encouraging and undertaking pond research.
